Assalamu alaikum and hi everyone
I would like to first of all wish all Muslim brothers a very happy Eid ulFitri. Hopefully all our intentions, words and actions are blessed by Allah swt.
The recent appointment of Profesor Datuk Dr Zaini Ujang as the new Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) Vice-Chancellor is a welcomed move to freshen higher education in Malaysia. Congratulations to Prof Zaini who may be the youngest person ever appointed to the VC post.
His plate is undoubtedly full, considering where UTM is now and where it wants to go. Hopefully his forte in Educational Policy and Planning stand him in good stead to tackle the many issues hampering higher education in Malaysia today.
A topic I will surely update, Insya Allah.
